Quadra Accordion Card

Taught at the Budding Stampers Club in April 2005

Spring

6” square chipboard

7” square decorative paper

5 ¾” square matching decorative paper

4 – 2 ½” x 10” solid colored cardstock.

4 – 2 ¼” square matching decorative paper

4 – 2” solid colored cardstock

4 – 1 ¾” white card stock (for image)

2 – 24” ribbon

Misc. Embellishments and punches to decorate booklets

 

1. cut all papers to sizes above.

2. cover chipboard w/ decorative paper using 7” and 5 ¾” decorative paper.

3. score 2 ½” x 10” strips at 2 ½” intervals. Accordion fold each strip.

4. center ribbons so each ribbon will tie over 2 booklets once project is complete. See sample. Keep in place w/ regular tape making sure not to tape directly over the center.

5. attach each accordion booklet to covered chipboard.

6. Layer each cut square onto bookets ending w/ stamped image.

7. embellish inside of booklets using tags, stickers, punches, etc., created w/ the other coordinating decorative paper and scraps.

 

Asian

5” square chipboard

3 - 6” squares matching origami paper

 - cut (1) 4 ½” square

 - keep (1) 6”

 - use (1) for embellishments

4 ¾” square solid colored cardstock

4 – 2 ¼” x 9” solid colored paper for accordion bookets

4 – 2 1/8” white squares (for images)

Misc. embellishments and punches to decorate inside of booklets

 

1. cut all paper to sizes above

2. cover chipboard w/ origami paper using 6”

3. Layer 4 ¾” solid colored cardstock over white part of chipboard

4. Layer 4 ½” square origami paper over colored cardstock.

5. score 2 ¼” x 9” strips at 2 ¼” intervals. Accordion fold each strip.

6. attach each accordion booklet onto chipboard.

7. layer white cardstock w/ stamped image onto each booklet.

8. attach coin inside center of booklet w/ ribbon and bamboo skewer and mounting tape.

9. embellish inside of booklet as desired.
