I think they're pretty much adored by everyone. There may have been a bit of a discussion when they first overtook the marina because they are in the high rent district but the boat owners just moved to a different area nearby and peace seems to be exist between the sailors and sea lions. You can smell them a block away, though!
I should say, though, that I don't actually live in The City. Perhaps the nearby residents think differently about the sea lions, but people in the bay area in general tend to be huge advocates for animals.
I started this more as a photo blog, then added art and crafts and now, well...nothing is off limits because I'm spilling open!
I'll be posting pics of friends and family - I know a few of you don't want to be 'published' so I'll keep you anonymous.
If you see your pic here but don't want it up, just let me know and I'll happily remove. The last thing I want is to make anyone uncomfortable or unhappy.

Absolutely beautiful. The skin is so sleek looking. Are they as plentiful and as pesky as I've heard?
