hum...weird issues with the resolution of this photo
Here's the splash my BIL left after jumping off the granite boulder. The water is pretty cold because the 5600 foot elevation lake is filled from snowmelt. But last year was a very hot summer and the cold water was refreshing.
There were 3 boys, age 5, 3 and 16 months, and their pooch kept close track of each of them. At one point, Jimmy took the 3 year old out in the canoe and the dog went into the lake and tried to swim after them since the dog didn't trust Jimmy.
This year Jimmy's sister and her family are also coming. Hopefully, the parentals, another sister, Jimmy's cousin, and another secret guest will join us for at least a day, too.
I hope you all have a great week. I will probably be MIA till nearly August. I'll have my computer, but as I've mentioned before, we only have dial-up there. And I suspect I'll be exhausted every night after spending the days with 5 nieces and nephews under the age of 11, and their parents, that I'll barely have enough energy to crawl into bed much less wait for dial-up.
Cheers!

You will have so much fun, Mad, with family--so similar to what we look froward to each year at our family cottage. Donica's Internet wireless card is soooo sloooow that I made the decision to NOT blog at all while there. Once I made that decision and let everyone know, it was like a total "release," if that makes sense. I LOVE blogging, but sometimes even that needs a break!
We'll be here when you get back!! Enjoy your time and stay safe!
Oh, sounds like a wonderful "get-away" and I bet the kids love it. Enjoy.
You lucky girl!
I'll miss you, though.
Have a good time. :)
Have a great time, see you when you get back!

Hope you have a wonderful trip! xo
That sounds like so much fun. Can't wait to see the pics!
Have fun on your trip, sounds like a good time to be had
Have fun...I'll be checking in to see if you have posted...using my dial up to check.
It looks so gorgeous there and I suspect it's near a place I've visited several times and have really missed the past couple of years.
