I started this more as a photo blog, then added art and crafts and now, well...nothing is off limits because I'm spilling open! I'll be posting pics of friends and family - I know a few of you don't want to be 'published' so I'll keep you anonymous. If you see your pic here but don't want it up, just let me know and I'll happily remove. The last thing I want is to make anyone uncomfortable or unhappy. Cheers and thanks for visiting!

Ex, yesh, thanks for checking in! I'm in seattle right now but my husband is home. he called me right away so i wouldn't panic and told me he was fine. a few things fell off shelves, my craft room was the worst, he said he'd leave the clean up for me so i could see how bad it was (nothing broken, just fell). i'm glad that it wasn't worse, 5.6 is shocking to experience but the damage is relatively minimal. The one in 1989 when the bridges collapsed was a 6.9 or 7.1, just so you have a perspective of the difference. I'm sure we'll hear about more damage(s) in the morning. but it was centered about 10 miles from us from what i understand so i know it felt really strong where I live.

Glad everything and everyone is ok! My hub now knows after I interrupted his news broadcast that I have friends in CA. (What did they say? Where was that earthquake? Rewind! Rewind!)
