It was a sunny day in Claremont, California

Just how the heck did 17 years go by in a flash? Must mean that its been a great ride.

The other day we had dinner with the Bowen's at La Fondue to celebrate. Their 14th wedding anniversary this month, too. Have you ever had fondue? Can I just say that it's one of the best inventions ever. Get yourself to a fondue place if you've never tried it. Just be prepared for a long dinner, ours lasted 3 hours. Which isn't nearly enough time to digest all that cheese, meat and chocolate. But the pain is worth it, I promise. :)

oooh fondue! Yum.
It was the cool thing to do back in the 70s (yes I remember it well) and has recently resurfaced. I love that stringy cheese and the bread bits to dip in.... oh, I think we might have to have a fondue for SuperBowl Day!

CONGRATULATIONS, Mad and Jimmy! I love how you share your life with us. And I LOVE fondue but haven't had it in years. It was a big fad years ago. Is it coming back???

Love the picture of you and Jimmy.

I've still got two fondue pots from the seventies downstairs packed away, and I can't bear to get rid of them. I was very fond of fondue.

Oh sorry, how thoughtless of me, I was so involved with telling you all about how lovely fondue is, and I forgot completely to wish you a Happy Happy Anniversary! And I meant to as well, I'm starting to lose my marbles I think.

What a beautiful bride you were....you have not changed one bit from the pictures I have seen. I remember my mom making fondue for her canasta parties....

:D Happy belated Anniversary. We keep trying to get to the Fondue place in Knoxville, TN (closest one to us) but it always seems to be closed on the days we are available to go. Someday... someday..
