Traveling is awesome. You get to see and experience so many different things. And it really makes you appreciate home. Especially when spring is here but it isn't yet where you just left.

I started this more as a photo blog, then added art and crafts and now, well...nothing is off limits because I'm spilling open! I'll be posting pics of friends and family - I know a few of you don't want to be 'published' so I'll keep you anonymous. If you see your pic here but don't want it up, just let me know and I'll happily remove. The last thing I want is to make anyone uncomfortable or unhappy. Cheers and thanks for visiting!

First, I have to comment on those lovely spring flowers, just gorgeous. It's the first day of Spring, and we are still in deep freeze, in fact it was snowing just a minute ago, so I really appreciate those gorgeous flowers.
next, I was browsing through your Chicago trip, WOW, you had such a great time, and being there over St Patrick's Day and seeing the river dyed green was an extra bonus. I've been to Chicago twice, but only for a day each time. I'll obviously have to go again, looks like you did lots of sightseeing. I'm envious! Maybe I'll try to get Oprah tix and make a long weekend of it!!
I love that huge silver bean. Did you see the Buckinhgam Fountain? Gorgeous. It was featured on Married With Children, but I never liked that show.
I hope your kitty was glad to see you when you got home, and didn't behave like this one.... see video!
