I started making jewelry in 2002 when my girlfriend brought a book over and taught me how to make beaded bees. I was hooked and was making beaded insects by the dozen. After a few days, the beaded insects progressed into necklaces and earrings and within a year or two, I probably made over a 100 pieces. I'm not as prolific in jewelry design anymore but still make 5 or 6 pieces a year.
